Hugh Stanley at
the age of 16 years, was examined by the minister
at Gravesend, and embarked the Thomas Henry
Taverner which sailed between the dates 21st
August 1635 and 2nd of September 1635, and was
transported to Virginia. Ref. 1
Hugh's origins
have not been determined - the IGI does not not
have a matching baptism record. Note - Hugh Stanley of Storeton is unlikely to be Hugh
Stanley of Maryland.
