Carnegie Publishing Ltd. covers numerous
branches of the Stanley Family, contains
over 500 pages, and is the only guide for
those researching their Stanley ancestry.
Whilst this book fails to include
references for genealogical validation,
it is a good starting point for family
history research.
Travel in the
1500s may have been slow, but some members of the
Stanley family travelled and migrated. By the mid
1500s, small family groups can be found in many
counties of England. They crossed the English
Channel into Europe, and before 1636 had sailed
to America.
